Did you make fitness resolutions this year?  Are you a passionate runner, walker or hiker?  What if your fitness efforts could free and empower enslaved women and girls?

At SIS, we believe that God has created you with so much care, and that all of your goals, passions, and hobbies can be used to serve his kingdom.  We have prayerfully developed several new initiatives to help people mobilize their talents to rescue and restore more women and girls.

Run to Rescue is designed to link your fitness goals and cheering fans with the work She Is Safe is doing to prevent, rescue and restore women and girls from abuse and slavery. If you have a love for covering miles, seeing new things, or getting healthy, this initiative is for you.

Even if running and walking for fitness is not your thing, you have other interests or passions you could leverage.  Run to Rescue shows a great example of how you can put those things to work for the Kingdom.

You can get a great picture of what Run to Rescue is all about by watching our brief Run to Rescue Video, featuring Trail Runner/SIS Communications Director, Ian North and refugee women he’s met along the path:
