Beth Birmingham

Beth Birmingham, Ph.D., M.B.A., B.Sc.

Beth Birmingham has served 25 years Non-profit and Christian higher education fields. Most recently as Senior Director for Leadership Development at Compassion International. Prior to joining Compassion, Beth served as an Associate Professor of Leadership and Change at Eastern University and Chair of the School of Leadership and Development (SLD) for 22 years. She was the founding Director for the M.A.in Organizational Leadership program and the Academic Coordinator for the SLD Africa Programs and lived for two-years in Cape Town, South Africa on a teaching sabbatical (2006-2008).

Beth served as the designer and point person for a number of organizational relationships SLD has engaged in including World Vision International, Habitat for Humanity International, Cornerstone Christian College, English Language Institute of China, Geneva Global Inc., Theological College of Asia, among others. Her work has taken her to over 22 countries. This is Beth’s second term of service on the She Is Safe board of directors.

Beth holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Change from Antioch University, an MBA in International Economic Development from Eastern University, and a B.Sc. in Marketing from West Chester University. She resides in Aldan, PA.
