This week, She Is Safe is hosting a screening of the powerful Girl Rising film. Girl Rising explores the stories of nine girls who overcome overwhelming odds on the path towards getting an education. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Cate Blanchett, Selena Gomez and other actresses contribute voice performances to the film, which features original music from Academy Award winner Rachel Portman, in collaboration with Lorne Balfe.
